1. Nature of the Products

The Decision Protocol Institute publishes downloadable governance frameworks and decision-recording instruments. These are structured digital documents, editable files, and interactive tools designed for organizational use and for professional engagements. They are not consulting services, legal advice, certification, or software.

2. Current Product Scope

The currently available products are:

• AI Decision Triage Starter ($29, one-time purchase) — single-decision recording instrument
• AI Use & Control Framework ($247, one-time purchase) — internal control layer for AI use
• AI Vendor & Data Control Framework ($247, one-time purchase) — vendor and data control layer
• Complete AI Governance Suite ($397, one-time purchase) — both frameworks plus exclusive components
• Agency License (Spring Edition $997 through 31 May 2026 / Standard $1,497 from 1 June 2026, one-time purchase) — full method with broad-scope deployment and firm-branding permissions for professional practices

Additional products or governance layers may be released separately. Any future product will be governed by the terms displayed on the site at the time that product is published or purchased.

3. Delivery, Access, and Merchant of Record

Purchases on this site are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as the Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments is the seller of record for tax, invoicing, and payment-processing purposes. Products are delivered as digital downloads immediately after purchase, through the delivery channel arranged by Dodo Payments. The buyer receives a ZIP archive containing the framework documents, editable files, and interactive tools applicable to the product purchased.

4. Intellectual Property and License Scope

All materials are copyrighted by The Decision Protocol Institute (Lamberto Iezzi). Upon purchase, the buyer receives a license whose scope depends on the product acquired:

• Starter, Frameworks, and Complete Suite grant a license for internal organizational use within a single organization. Redistribution, resale, or public sharing of the materials is not permitted.
• Agency License grants the buyer (a single individual professional or single legal entity) the right to apply the materials and method within their own professional engagements with clients, including firm-branding permissions on professional deliverables. The Agency License is non-transferable. Colleagues within the same firm wishing to apply the method in their own engagements require separate licenses. Public distribution of the source materials, resale of the materials as a stand-alone product, or sub-licensing remain prohibited under all license tiers.

5. No Consulting, Legal Advice, or Certification

The products do not constitute legal advice, consulting, certification, or compliance guarantees. They provide structured governance frameworks that organizations and professionals adapt to their own context. The adopting party remains solely responsible for ensuring that the implemented controls are adequate to its specific regulatory, operational, and risk context, and for obtaining qualified legal counsel where appropriate.

6. Refunds

Refund terms are described in the Refund Policy. The 14-day refund window applies uniformly to all products listed in section 2.

7. EU Right of Withdrawal

Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom are entitled to a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. By purchasing and accessing immediate digital content, the consumer expressly consents to the start of performance before the withdrawal period expires and acknowledges that, once the digital content has been downloaded, the right of withdrawal is forfeited under Article 16(m) of the Directive. This rule operates alongside the 14-day commercial refund window described in the Refund Policy.

8. Misuse and Termination

The publisher reserves the right to revoke access in cases of material misuse, unauthorized redistribution, license violation, or fraudulent activity.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the products.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Venice, Italy. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which the buyer resides remain unaffected by this clause.

11. Publisher Identity

The Decision Protocol Institute is the public-facing brand under which these products are published. Legal operator and copyright holder: Lamberto Iezzi, Venice, Italy, VAT IT04386320271. Merchant of Record for sales transactions: Dodo Payments.

12. Future Products and Changes

Additional products or governance layers may be released separately. These terms may also be updated. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision; continued use of the materials constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
