1. Products Covered by This Policy
This policy applies to all products published by The Decision Protocol Institute, including the AI Decision Triage Starter ($29), the AI Use & Control Framework ($247), the AI Vendor & Data Control Framework ($247), the Complete AI Governance Suite ($397), and the Agency License (Spring Edition $997 / Standard $1,497). All are one-time purchases delivered as immediate digital downloads with no recurring charges.
2. Merchant of Record
Purchases on this site are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as the Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments is the seller of record for tax, invoicing, and payment-processing purposes. Refund requests for purchase amounts are handled in coordination with Dodo Payments according to the terms below.
3. Refund Window — 14 Days
Refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of purchase for any product, including the Agency License. After 14 days, refunds are not available except in the limited circumstances described in section 5 below.
4. Materials Already Delivered
Because these are digital products delivered immediately, a refund constitutes a full return of the purchase price in exchange for the buyer’s agreement to delete all downloaded materials and to cease any use of the Decision Protocol method derived from them. The buyer agrees not to retain, redistribute, or apply the materials in any way after a refund is issued.
5. Promotional Period Technical Exception Window
For Agency License purchases acquired during the Spring Edition or any prior promotional pricing period, an additional exception applies: if a technical delivery issue (such as inaccessible download, corrupted archive, or non-delivered access credentials) arises and is reported within 30 days of purchase, the buyer may request either re-delivery or a refund, even after the standard 14-day window has elapsed. This exception applies solely to verifiable technical delivery issues, not to changes of mind or evaluation of the materials.
6. EU Right of Withdrawal
Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom benefit from a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. By purchasing and accessing immediate digital content, the consumer expressly consents to begin performance of the contract before the withdrawal period expires and acknowledges that, once the digital content has been downloaded, the right of withdrawal is forfeited under Article 16(m) of the Directive. This statutory rule is independent from, and operates alongside, the 14-day refund window described above, which The Decision Protocol Institute offers as a commercial concession beyond statutory minimums.
7. How to Request a Refund
Contact contact@decisionprotocolinstitute.com with your order details and the reason for the request. Refund-eligible requests are processed by Dodo Payments within 7 business days of acceptance.
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you believe there is an issue with your purchase, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider. We are committed to resolving any concerns directly and in coordination with Dodo Payments. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may delay legitimate refund processing.
9. Future Subscription Products
If future subscription or update products are introduced, their billing and refund terms will be disclosed at the time of purchase and will supersede the relevant portions of this policy for those products.
