Why an agency-grade license exists

The Decision Protocol Institute publishes instruments for organizations that need to defend high-stakes decisions later. But many advisors — fractional general counsel, boutique compliance firms, risk consultants, independent internal auditors — deliver that same defensibility to several clients at once. The Agency License exists for them.

It is not a reseller kit. It is an operator-grade license that lets you use the method inside client engagements, with your own cover, your own voice, your own delivery style — while the underlying procedural structure remains sound.

Governance engagements delivered by licensed advisors are typically invoiced between USD 15,000 and 35,000 per client, depending on engagement depth. The Agency License is structured for application within such engagements, providing the operational method the advisor uses across client work — reducing per-engagement preparation time and producing a recognizable standard of delivery across the advisor’s portfolio.

What the Agency License contains

Block 1

The complete AI Governance Suite

38 structured instruments across both frameworks — AI Use & Control plus AI Vendor & Data Control — including the Execution Library (20 case records), Executive Briefing (10 pages), and Deployment Roadmap (30 days). The full operator kit.

Block 2

Broad-Scope Professional Deployment

Apply the Decision Protocol method within your professional engagements, proportionate to the professional activity of a single licensee, for the full duration of your perpetual license.

Block 3

Firm-Branding Permissions

Replace the DPI cover page with your own firm's visual identity on professional deliverables. The procedural integrity remains intact; the branding layer adapts to your practice. Attribution retained in footer per license terms.

Block 4

Operator's Manual & Deployment Guide

A dedicated guide for advisors deploying the method in client engagements: scoping interview templates, kickoff agenda, triage facilitation script, stakeholder mapping protocols, common objection responses.

Block 5

Source Files (Editable)

Editable versions of all core templates in .docx and .pdf-form formats, so you can tailor documents to each engagement's context — sector-specific wording, regulatory emphasis, client vocabulary — without rebuilding from scratch.

Block 6 — Spring Edition bonuses

Method Updates Through December 2026

Any addition, revision, or new instrument published during 2026 is included at no additional cost for Spring Edition buyers. This benefit is exclusive to the promotional window and does not apply to the standard license tier after the Spring Edition closes.

Honest fit

For advisors who deliver defensibility. Honest about who it isn’t for.

The Agency License is built for a specific kind of professional practice. It is not a general-purpose product. The clearer we are about where it fits and where it does not, the better the fit will be for those who proceed.

This License is for you if

  • You serve mid-market companies deploying AI under board, investor, or regulatory scrutiny.
  • Your engagements involve documented governance, audit preparation, or first institutional reviews.
  • Your method must hold on its own written merits before independent reviewers.
  • Your clients face decisions where “we thought it was fine at the time” is not a sufficient answer.

This License is not for you if

  • You are looking for an accredited certification. The Decision Protocol Institute is a publishing brand, not a certifying body.
  • You need formal legal opinions to deliver to clients. The instruments document defensibility; they do not replace qualified counsel in your or your clients’ jurisdiction.
  • You do not yet have an active client practice. The Agency License is structured for application within billable engagements — without one, the same materials are available at the Internal License level for $397.
  • You expect post-purchase advisory or one-on-one method support. The License delivers the system; updates through December 2026 are included, individual coaching is not.
Before you decide

Common questions from advisors

What does broad-scope deployment mean in practice?

You may apply the licensed materials within professional engagements in your practice, proportionate to the activity of a single licensee. The license is granted to you as a single individual or legal entity — colleagues within your firm wishing to apply the method in their own engagements require separate licenses. The scope and terms are identical for Spring Edition and Standard purchasers; the only difference is the price at acquisition.

Can I genuinely put my firm's cover on the deliverables?

Yes, on client-facing deliverables produced during your engagements. The license preserves a minimal footer attribution to The Decision Protocol Institute as the method source — standard practice for licensed methodologies — but the primary branding, cover, and voice are yours.

Why is the Spring Edition priced at $997 rather than the standard $1,497?

Because it is not a discount. The $997 price reflects the decision to work with an inaugural cohort of operators before the license reaches its standard market position at $1,497. Spring Edition buyers also receive method updates through December 2026 — a benefit not extended at the standard tier later.

Is there a refund window?

Yes — refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of purchase, like all other products. The refund policy page describes the exact terms, including an additional 30-day exception window applicable to Spring Edition purchases in case of verifiable technical delivery issues.

What happens after 31 May?

On 1 June 2026 the Agency License transitions to its standard list price of $1,497. Terms, contents, and license scope are identical for Spring Edition and Standard purchasers; the only difference is the price at acquisition. Spring Edition buyers retain their perpetual license and their method updates through December 2026, as promised.

A first cohort. A long institutional horizon.

The Decision Protocol Institute opens its Spring Edition Agency License to operators who will carry the method into client engagements before the public market even knows the method exists. If that describes your practice, the Spring Edition window remains open through 31 May.
